MDHA State Headquarters Property
MDHA owns 120 acres of land that surrounds the state headquarters office in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. We manage this land for wildlife and allow archery hunters the opportunity to hunt the property.
CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease)
Chronic wasting disease (CWD) is a transmissible spongiform
encephalopathy (TSE), which is a group of progressive neurological
diseases. MDHA is currently working with the MN DNR, University of
Minnesota Veterinary Diagnostic Lab and the USDA investigating the
potential of providing CWD testing for hunters who wish to test their
deer.
Hunter Access Cards
Minnesota Deer Hunters Association has produced Hunter Access Cards for
use by both hunters and landowners to foster positive hunter-landowner
relations. Available, free of charge, the perforated card separates
into two business card sized halves - one for the hunter and one for
the landowner.
MN Venison Donation Program
The MN Venison Donation Program is a program dedicated to providing quality venison to food shelves in the state of Minnesota.
