MDHA Welcomes Angie Forconi as Chapter Coordinator!

Angie joins MDHA as an avid outdoor enthusiast looking to further her passion as our Chapter Coordinator.  Angie was born and raised in Itasca County by parents whom instilled that enthusiasm.  They exposed her to hunting, fishing, camping, horseback riding and a variety of other activities at a very young age. It was an immediate passion.  Angie has continued to be involved traveling frequently to North and South Dakota with her horse riding the Badlands and Black Hills. She rifle, muzzleloader and bow hunts for whitetail deer.  She has taken trips to Saskatchewan, North Dakota and South Dakota hunting ducks and geese.  She also loves all seasons and species of fishing from musky, walleyes and crappies, to lake trout and sturgeon.

Angie attended Bemidji State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Educatio

n.  Since returning to Itasca County Angie has been involved in two different local snowmobile clubs; doing trail maintenance and fundraising, she had been

involved with local horse clubs and organized numerous horse events at a local barn and trails.  After working in the construction industry for the last 20 years she strived to be involved in something that fulfilled her passion for the outdoors, and the Chapter Coordinator position at MDHA seemed like a perfect fit.  Angie enjoys getting others involved in the outdoors and feels very strongly about maintaining deer habitat, encouraging youth to be involved in deer hunting and ensuring a future for the sport.

She is delighted to join the team and is excited to get out and meet the members that make MDHA what it is!
