Sure Game Wilderness Resort has been around since 1941. A lot has changed over the years. On June 1^st, 2022 our family’s adventure took a new turn. My husband Aarron, I and our two daughters recently purchased this amazing resort in Northern Itasca County. I bet you have lived your whole life in Minnesota and never heard of Wirt, MN.  You are right, it is a small community surrounded by many wonderful attractions. We have learned a lot in our first year of owning a resort. I will never get over the beauty of Clear Lake. With only 5 houses and the resort on Clear Lake, some would say it’s extremely serene.

The resort is surrounded by 1000’s of acres of USDA forest. If getting out and exploring the land is your go to-you need to check us out. The Lost 40 is within close proximity to the resort. We accommodate all types of hunters from youth deer hunters to bear hunters. We even have many wonderful groups of grouse hunters drive to our resort to hunt the surrounding area. Some of these hunters are professionals and you can see the importance of the hunt through their dogs' thrill to retrieve. All are welcomed at our Pet friendly Resort. Our Resort welcomes old and young alike. We want this great sport of hunting to stay alive. Our two daughters have been raised with their father hunting and we believe this hobby needs to flourish for the sake of our younger generations. Time goes quickly and spending time with family and friends either by fishing, hunting, ATVing or just relaxing at our Northern MN Resort is our top priority. Hoping we can check all your boxes.
