Advocating for responsible wolf management since 1980!

For over 40 years, the Minnesota Deer Hunters Association (MDHA) has been a steadfast advocate for keeping wolf management under state control, rather than federal oversight via the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Since our inception, we have championed responsible predator management. We have invested thousands of hours collaborating with state and federal authorities to emphasize the importance of this issue to Minnesota sportsmen. Our efforts were crucial in the wolf hunts of the 2012-2014 seasons.

From pen-and-paper advocacy to modern legislative outreach, MDHA has consistently relied on scientific data and field experts to guide our mission. We influence policymakers to trust and follow the science. Since 1980, and for the foreseeable future, MDHA remains the unwavering voice of Minnesota sportsmen.
